1. General

The http://www.msjgroup.com website (from now on referred to as “the website”) is owned by  the company under the name of “M.S. Jacovides & Co. Ltd” (from now on referred to as “the Company”), which has its registered offices in Nicosia, at 8 Ayiou Nicolaou Street, Nicosia, 1055, Cyprus.

The use of the website, as well as all rights and obligations pertaining to this website, are governed by the present Terms and Conditions which are valid for the entire contents of the website and its subpages.

The website was developed for the purpose of offering information and services to its visitors. The visitor’s navigation among the pages of the present website, as well as the utilization of any information provided through such pages, is tantamount to unequivocal acceptance of the present Terms and Conditions. Thus, the visitor is called upon to review in advance the content of such terms and conditions.

The Company reserves the right to unilaterally amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice. The Company will upload to the Internet the version of the terms of use effective at each time, while the continuation of the use of the website or its services will be perceived as constituting acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions. Therefore, each user is kindly requested to review the Terms and Conditions at regular intervals.

The Terms and Conditions, as well as any amendment thereof, are governed by the national and Community laws, as well as any applicable relevant international treaties.

Any provision of the present Terms & Conditions that is deemed contrary to the aforementioned legal context or that ceases to be in effect, shall be automatically invalidated and deleted from the present document, without this affecting in any way the remaining terms.

Likewise, in case any Term or Condition become partially or wholly invalid or inapplicable, the applicability and/or validity of the remaining terms or any part thereof shall not be affected. Invalid and/or non-applicable terms shall be replaced by terms that shall come as close as possible to the meaning and the spirit of the invalid or non-applicable terms.

The present Terms and Conditions, as well as any amendment thereof, are governed by laws of the Republic of Cyprus. For any dispute that may arise from the present contract, jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Nicosia.

 

2. Intellectual Property Rights

The website’s content (programs, information material of any type, data, software, graphics, trademarks, names, logotypes, etc.) constitutes intellectual property of the Company, and is protected by the applicable national, Community, and international legislation.

It is prohibited to amend, publish, transmit, transfer, reproduce, distribute, present, link to, download, or in any other way take advantage of, in full or in part, the website’s content, in any manner or by any means, without the prior express and written permission of the Company, which reserves all its legal rights.

The content of the website is provided to visitors/users for their own personal use; it is not permitted for such content to be made available for commercial purposes. Third-party products or services that may be mentioned on this website, bearing the trademarks of their respective organizations, companies, collaborating bodies, associations or publications, are their intellectual and industrial property.


3. Links to Third-Party Websites

In case the website provides, now or in the future, the option of gaining access to third-party websites through links, this will occur exclusively for the facilitation of visitors/users, while the use of such links will be at the sole responsibility of visitors/users, and the respective websites will be subject to their own terms of use, for which the company bears no responsibility.

The company is also not liable for any errors or functionality issues of third-party websites, as well as for any damage sustained by the users because they have gained access and used the information, services and products provided through such websites.


4. Website Validity – Protection from Viruses – Limitation of Liability – Waiver Statement

This website may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors, which will be corrected by the Company, at its own discretion, whenever noticed. The company, its employees, its executives and its partners, however, cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, correctness, timeliness, or non-violation of the website’s content for any use, application, or purpose.  In addition, they offer no guarantee that any errors shall be necessarily or fully corrected, or that answers shall be given to all queries posed.

Although the Company shall make every possible effort to prevent any appearance of viruses on this website, it cannot guarantee that the website’s functionality will be uninterrupted or that it will be free of errors and viruses at any given time, and it cannot be held liable for any loss of data or other damage sustained by the visitor/user or any third party because of the use/copy/download or any other corruption or contamination from viruses or other non-allowed interventions by third parties to files and information made available through the website.

Each visitor is required to take all appropriate security measures (e.g., virus protection software) prior to downloading anything from this website. 5. User Behavior

The users of the website are required to comply with the rules and provisions of the Cyprus, European, and International Law, as well as to the relevant legislation governing telecommunications, and to refrain from exhibiting any unlawful or abusive behavior against or related to such use.
Website users acknowledge that they shall not use this website to send, publish, email, or transmit in any other way, any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, insulting, annoying, slanderous, defamatory, vulgar, indecent or libelous, or any content that violates anybody’s privacy, exhibits hostility, or expresses racist, nationalistic, or any other type of discrimination.

Furthermore, website users agree, indicatively and not restrictively, that they will not use this website to:
